Within the present-day village, there is evidence that there was once a chateau here.  Today, just one tiny turret remains in Place du Porge.  From the site of the turret, it is clear to see that the chateau would have overlooked, and probably controlled, the traffic on the road to Palairac.

The church, built on the highest site in the village, dates from the 13th century and is emblazoned with the Templar Cross above the porch.  The church is still used today for occasional services throughout the year.
