The attractions that this area has to offer are so diverse that it’s virtually impossible to include everything. Its historical origins go further back than you can imagine. A skull that was found in nearby Tautavel has been carbon-dated to 450,000 years ago. In this immediate area, around Quintillan, there has been evidence of Roman occupation, and one of the local wines has been named in honour of the settlement - Quintilius. |
