Christmas Day

Christmas Day will start with breakfast as usual, and the morning at leisure.  At around 11.30 there will be coffee and biscuits, followed by a visit from Santa.
At around 2 pm, the feasting commences with a glass of mulled wine.  Then we proceed up to the dining room for dinner as follows:-

Smoked Irish Salmon with Brown Soda Bread
Salad of Mixed Leaves, tomato and Red Onion.

Lemon Sorbet

Roast Local Farm Turkey
Bacon Rolls
Chestnut Stuffing
Sage Scented Jus

Buttered Brussels Sprouts
Carrots a l’orange

Roast and Creamed Potatoes

Cheese Plate

Home Made Christmas Pudding
Baileys Cream
Served with a glass of Champagne

Tea and Coffee

After dinner we wander back down to the sitting room for an evening of chat, quizzes and board games.  Tea, coffee, sandwiches and  Home Made Christmas Cake will be served around 10 pm.  Drinks will be available throughout the evening from our bar.

St Stephen’s Day (Boxing Day) can be taken completely at your leisure.  Breakfast will be served at whatever time you wish to get up, and you may like to stroll around the countryside  before arriving back for a Buffet Dinner at around 5pm.  Following this we can have an evening of Murder Mystery, or just relax with a good book
